Nine(9)=> permission structures.

There are nine groups, each being maintained by a group name and password pair (group_maintainer), each group is set to be either open or closed.

Open meaning anyone can join the group and closed meaning the group_maintainer must set up access for new members of that group.

Each group consists of 9 archives, each being maintained by an archive_name, a password pair (archive maintainer), each archive is set to be open or closed.

Open meaning anyone can join the archive and closed meaning the archive_maintainer sets up the members of that archive.

Each Archive in turn consists of nine knowledge_maps each being built and maintained by a map_name, password pair (map_maintainer).

In total each instance of a Nine(9)server can have (9 groups) x (9 archive) x (9 Knowledge_maps) = 729 maps total.

Each of the 729 knowledge_maps contain:

9 x map_images with 9 links on each.

These links in turn can connect to up to 9 x texts, 9 x sound, 9 x videos or a mixture of all three formats.

Auto Email:

Each map_image that a knowledge_map contains can also link to any othermap_image of any other of the 728 remaining knowledge_maps.

When a link to another knowledge_map is made an email is automatically generated and sent from the person making the link to the person who maintains (owns) the map being linked to.

Nine(9)=> word-frequency and text:

When text is uploaded to a specific knowledge_map it is automatically indexed. This will make Nine(9) very easy to search when I build the interface.

Nine(9) can identify common occurrences of words across different text files (*Word frequency) and description fields within a knowledge_map, offering the map_maintainer the possibility of using that word or collection of words for linking between the different texts linked to map_images. Future plans are for this facility to scope this linkage to the archive in which the map lives, or to the group which the knowledge map belongs to, or between servers on which Nine(9) may be running.

*Word frequency is a basic component of language as data - a mathematical study of the periodicity or norms of word use in a language. In English text generated from non linguistically impaired peoples, 'the' makes up is 6.18 percent of the corpus of English words. We find that 43% of the corpus are pronouns, conjunctions, other function-words and a few common verbs. Word frequency was originally used to inform religious scholars of who authored various parts of various bibles, these days, a more pertinent use is to inform search engines of content words in web-sites, AI development and in detecting the 'normality' of language.

Nine(9)=> What you need to use it:

You will need a personal computer running either Windows, MacOS or Linux.

Nine(9) only really works if you input images, sounds and texts of your own. You can source these through the net, CD roms etc. If you want to use your own images you will need access to a scanner or a digital camera. For simple sounds try using the built-in mic on your computer. For text you can input with any word-processor program, but the document must be saved as .txt.
